RAMONA & DANIEL

Wedding in Brixen, South Tyrol

Ramona & Daniel got married on a rainy September day and they didn’t care about the weather at all.

Weddings in my home town in South Tyrol are always very special to me. Lately I’ve had the chance to shoot more and more adventurous sessions with couples that want something unique and out of the box. Don’t get me wrong. These shoots are a lot of fun, but a traditional wedding can be, too. For example, this one of Ramona & Daniel. The vibes on this wedding were just amazing! after 8 hours on location, I left thinking I had just shot one of my favorite weddings ever.

The day began in an ancient castle where Romana used to live. As her sister still lives there, they wanted to spend at least a part of their wedding day here. Ramona got dressed  in one of the rooms of the castle together with her sisters, her mother and her two little girls. It was a very emotional getting ready and I was happy to capture it for them. Later, the wedding party moved to the church of Maria Sand in Brixen. After the ceremony, we got back to the castle for the aperitif and a fun afternoon with great music from NikLee and the Marcos. For the dinner, the wedding party moved to Brix 0.1, a lovely restaurant just 5 min south of Brixen. It is located in a stunning park with some of the best food in town.

Shortly after I delivered the pictures, the sister of the bride asked me to shoot her wedding in 2022 and I can’t wait to be back with this family.
